Dear friends and family at Thalia UMC, It was nice to be able reminisce good times that I had growing up with the church since I was little. Sadly my family and I had to move to the Leesburg Virginia area and many are missed. I lost touch with a lot of people that are important to me over the years and wonder how all is doing. Since the move I have shuffled with my life a great deal and the events that have occured over the years. I finally found two great jobs working for Chicos and Quiznos. A lot of work and scheduling adjustments but worth the effort involved. Thank the dear Lord for facebook. It seems to be the best bet for me to keep in touch with anyone aside from my family. I have since then become engaged to a man from Sterling,Va and taking life day by day. For those that know or don't know me, my family and I attended Thalia from the 70's until about the mid 90's. I lost track. I got on this site today not only to reminisce in what little spare time that I have but to sent out my sincere condolences to the Clayton's at this time in their lives. They are such special and good people who are dealing with some great emotional sadness at the point and I would like all to pray for them. I understand from experience what it is like to deal with consequences of Cancer and the stress that comes along with such a dreadful disease. I don't know much about the situation that the Clayton's went through over the year so I simply would like to say I am thinking of you, always have, and you all are definitely in my prayers. I don't know the new pastors of the Thalia but I do know that it is a great church family to be a part of near or far. My sister Laura had been dealing with Cancer over the past three years and it has certainly been an emotional rollercoaster for all of us. Thank you for those that know her and my family for your prayers as well as those that we don't know and vice versa and for being there physically and spiritually. Please find out more at www.laurasfight.com I think I have written another mini novel in my life. God bless you and all!! Love in Christ, Lynne
