Stop Hunger Now Packing Event - August 17 after the 11:00AM service.

It'll take only 2 hours to pack 10,000 meals if we have 40 - 50 volunteers. These meals go to third world countries for distibution to hungry kids through school feeding programs.

This is a fun event that families can do together - youth and kids are encouraged to participate. Bring friends from your neighborhood; the more the merrier.

We need to raise $2,500 to pay for the packing supplies. Please make checks out to Thalia UMC and put "Stop Hunger Now" in the memo line.

Questions? Contact Dan Cott: daniel_cott@yahoo.com or 757-963-8422.

From sundown to sunup the Bible Museum is alive and kicking!

    Statues come alive in

A night watchman and a treasure hunter meet a henpecked Adam,

a Jezebel who has her hair in curlers and a talking donkey.

    And, that’s just for starters!

In a very clever way that introduces current day characters into Bible stores, NIGHT AT THE BIBLE MUSEUM is full of humor and sound Biblical truths.  Open to rising 2nd graders through middle school, campers take part in all aspects of staging a musical.  Prop making, singing, drama, and dancing are part of the daily experience.

Each year this camp has been a huge success and registration fills up quickly.  Don’t let your child miss out on this fun-filled week.  Register early to be assured of a place in NIGHT AT THE BIBLE MUSEUM.  Please realize that by registering, you agree your child will attend all 5 days of camp along with the Friday evening show.

Camp is Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the performance on Friday evening at 7:00.  Cost is only $30 which includes a listening CD.

Reserve your spot now before it fills up.
